Tell EPA: East Idaho is too good to waste.

When the FMC plant site was added to the Superfund list, it was ranked the 35th most polluted industrial site in the nation.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a “clean up” plan for the old FMC site. It’s not a clean up. It’s a “dirty close,” a cover-up plan to bury some 50 years of accumulated poisons. FMC skips away ... and the people of Eastern Idaho live with poisonous consequences.

The EPA will release its findings in spring of 2012. In the meantime, this site will provide background information on the issue and solutions proposed by The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. East Idaho is too good to waste.
